\nThe use case the team developed for Boot-X, is to build a Gaia-X compliant system for exchanging data in (automotive and other) supply chains for fulfilling the legal requirements arising from the new supply chain law.

It is necessary to see and assess the opportunity that data spaces will offer to the public sector to achieve this purpose or, if finally, they will be exclusively a valuable tool of exchange between private individuals. <\/div>Data Spaces for City Management<\/h4><\/div><\/div>[vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]Barcelona City Council has a data repository (CityOS) based on OpenSource technology that offers transversal services to the entire organization (analytical capacity) and dissemination services to citizens, organizations and companies in the city (from data raw to reports); to maximize the performance of this technology, sharing data with other actors, public and private, is key. It is necessary to see and assess the opportunity that data spaces will offer to the public sector to achieve this purpose or, if finally, they will be exclusively a valuable tool of exchange between private individuals. \nThe use case the team developed for Boot-X, is to build a Gaia-X compliant system for exchanging data in (automotive and other) supply chains for fulfilling the legal requirements arising from the new supply chain law.

The objective was to use a AI-based prototype in order to help conceptualise the future dataspece for the sector. The methodology used was based on AI LABS, a specific implementation of the 4-helix collaboration described in the Catalan Strategy of AI.
