Technological fundamentals of Generative IA
28 September 2023 | 13.30h a 14.15h
In this session, we will discuss the technological foundations on which generative AI is based: algorithms and models, training data, how images are generated from natural written or spoken language and the computational needs to implement it.
Presents:
-
Xavier Domingo, Director of the Applied Artificial Intelligence (AAI) unit, Eurecat
Participates:
-
David Sánchez, CTO of M47 Labs
-
Jordi Àlex Moreno, Director of technology, data, privacy and security at Mango
Speakers
DAVID SÁNCHEZ
CTO of M47 Labs
David is an engineer with more than 20 years of expertise in the software development industry. He currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at M47 Labs, where he spearheads the creation of cutting-edge AI solutions and products focused on NLP. Before his tenure at M47 Labs, David co-founded The Data Republic, which was later acquired by Kantar, leading the technical development of a revolutionary big data product for social listening, which provided a new level of insight and understanding to the TV industry.
Use of Large Language Models (LLM) for Business Optimization: A Technical Approach
In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence is no longer a choice, but a necessity. We’ll delve into various technical methodologies to integrate LLMs into business frameworks, improving efficiency, enhancing customer engagement, and driving growth in areas like customer service automation, content creation, data extraction, and more. An essential component of this conference will be dedicated to discussing the significance of model fine-tuning in the effective deployment of Large Language Models.
Fine-tuning these models to align with your specific business objectives is a critical step towards unlocking their full potential. It’s not just about implementing AI, it’s about tailoring it to understand and adapt to your business context.
JORDI ÁLEX MORENO
Director of technology, data, privacy and security at Mango

Generative algorithms applied to fashion design
At Mango, we see innovation and technology as levers of change. As such, we developed different projects in the company’s technology and advanced analytics department to evaluate the use of artificial intelligence algorithms in our collections’ creative processes. These tools allow our teams to explore a wide range of innovative designs, styles and patterns while remaining true to our brand identity.
