Dr. Irene Jubany is Scientific Director of Sustainability at Eurecat, one of Catalonia’s leading technology centres. With a Ph.D. in Science and over 20 years of experience, she specializes in environmental technologies, water and soil management, and sustainability. She leads research activities in environmental quality, climate resilience, and the circular economy. Dr. Jubany has coordinated numerous national and international R&D projects, authored over 30 scientific publications, and supervised doctoral research. Her current work is dedicated to promoting climate change mitigation and adaptation through technological innovation and the improvement of industrial processes.

Pooja Munshi is a global data, AI and digital transformation leader focused on harnessing technology to tackle complex environmental challenges. She brings more than 20 years of experience across the private sector, technology startups and the United Nations, working across the US, Europe, Asia and Africa.
Her career has spanned digital strategy and innovation for global brands including Nike, Procter & Gamble and LVMH, the technology startup ecosystem, and more than seven years at the UN Environment Programme. Most recently, at UNEP’s International Methane Emissions Observatory, she led the development of digital and data products bringing together satellite observations, scientific research, company data and AI to turn complex environmental information into actionable intelligence.
Pooja brings a cross-sector perspective on how AI can move beyond experimentation to real-world impact — combining technology with science, human expertise, trusted data and collaboration to accelerate environmental action.
